Our EU Marketing team is seeking a talented Content Marketing Manager to join them and help us take our content to the next level.
As a visual storyteller and Content Manager you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our content strategy, planning and managing projects, and providing regular reports on our progress. You'll be working closely with the Head of Content Marketing EU and the wider EU Marketing team, colleagues in the central content team, and external agencies and content producers, bringing your expertise and professional insights to strategically advance MPB content in the EU
This position is based in our Berlin office for 2 days per week, with the rest of the time spent working remotely.
What you’ll be doing
- Strategically planning cross-channel content based on insights from the photo and video community and thinking creatively about new ways to increase relevance and introduce our brand to new audiences.
- Managing and producing original and translated EU content in line with the content strategy, maintaining rigorous planning and production processes to ensure quality content out on time and on budget. You’ll ensure that everyone in the team knows what to work on to ensure the best result.
- Managing the EU editorial calendar and planning.
- Working with the analytics team to understand our customers and defining audiences to deliver targeted, insights-driven plans.
- Collaborating with our MPB experts to track content, SEO, CRM and social, and optimise resources against objectives and budget. Delivering reporting on relevant metrics and recommendations to your Head of Content Marketing EU and wider team.
- Collaborating closely with external content contributors, influencers and content platforms to increase our content output, reach and engagement.
- Developing our content partnerships strategy to support key business objectives. Manage acquisition, ongoing relationships and reporting.
- Supporting on publishing of content to the MPB Content Hub CMS
- Collaborating with our social media managers to drive engagement and awareness across MPB’s organic global and local social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter and LinkedIn).
- Negotiating fees and manage budgets (incl. simple video shoots, partner fees, kit loan agreements and affiliate programmes.)
Skills you’ll need
- Demonstrate solid experience in strategic content planning across multiple channels.
- Demonstrate the ability to drive projects forward and collaborate with a team of both internal and external content producers; film, photography, copywriting and design.
- Knowledgeable in SEO best practices to ensure content is optimised.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Extremely organised with meticulous eye for detail. High standards for brand, messaging, quality, and consistency of content
- Demonstrate an analytical background, understanding key performance metrics for content and how to use them to inform future decisions.
- Solid understanding of budgeting and how to optimise for better ROI.
- Knowledge of photography and videography kit and creative motivations, behaviours and interests.
- Fluent in English and German.

- Have experience in creating visual content using software such as Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Feel comfortable talking to camera on MPB Social Videos
